An spell of first-half domination counted for nothing when Harrow Borough settled for a 2-2 draw with Worthing at Earlsmead on Saturday.

The hosts got off to a flying start with Francis Babalola netting a 25-yard stunner inside four minutes, before passing up some five chances to double their advantage.

Naturally, Worthing would make them pay for those missed chances when Charlie Williamson levelled up on the half-hour mark with a deft finish at the near post.

Harrow regained their advantage shortly before half-time when Mark Charles-Smith, who had been guilty of missing two of those early opportunities, scored his first goal of the calendar year by stabbing Andy Lomas' cross home.

Dan Summers was the man to break Borough hearts for a second time after Luke Williams had spilled the ball from a cross - and vain hopes to spare his blushes with calls for a foul went ignored.

Babalola and Chares-Smith both fired over following the equaliser, with the latter more than capable of scoring a hat-trick given the chances provided to him on the day.

Late on Williams held a header from Louis Clark, and a visitors' cross bounced off the bar - but the spoils were shared.
