Wealdstone have been handed one of the ties of the FA Cup first round proper after being drawn at home to League One side Colchester United.
The Stones will host Tony Humes’ side at The Vale after the first round draw was made live from Thackley Juniors FC this evening.
Colchester include former Wealdstone loanee Marvin Sordell among their number. The ex-Watford youngster enjoyed a fruitful loan spell with the Stones in 2008 before returning to Vicarage Road.

He eventually progressed to the Great Britain Olympic side and a multi-million pound move to Premier League Bolton Wanderers.
Another former Stone currently plying his trade in Essex is Gavin Massey. Also a Watford loanee during his Vale stay, Massey enjoyed a brief stay in 2011.
Wealdstone beat Bognor Regis Town in the fourth qualifying round whilst Colchester enter the hat at this stage by virtue of being a Football League side.
Ties will be played on the weekend of November 7/8.
