Watford are reportedly looking to turn Tom Cleverley's loan spell at Vicarage Road permanent.
The 27-year-old has made a steady start to his second stay in Hertfordshire, chipping in with two assists in his first six Premier League games since returning in January.
Cleverley revealed after making his second debut that he had "jumped at the chance" to return to the Hornets, where he was awarded Player of the Year at the end of his first loan spell in 2009/10.
He has reportedly impressed Walter Mazzarri with his ability not only to support front man Troy Deeney, having created 11 chances for his team-mates already, but also his proficiency in a deeper role, where he has featured in the last few weeks.
The Watford Observer contacted the agency which represents Cleverley, but they declined to comment.
