I am writing in response to Daksha Hathi’s letter about money being wasted on flowerbeds.
Along High Road, Harrow Weald, in the ward I am proud to be a councillor, the traders have recognised that Harrow Borough Council cannot afford everything it used to fund.
They have sponsored various flowers outside their shops and produce a pleasing environment in which to shop.
I suggest the traders along the Kenton Road go and look at High Road, Harrow Weald.
They will then see what can achieved working together with the council.
