So somebody decided to run a half-marathon on Sunday — which resulted in a large area in Brent closed to traffic on Mother’s Day, Thus, any plans to take mum out and have a family day was out of question.
After all, having a group of people running is so much more important than saying thank you to your mother — or at least this is what these callous people at Vitality North London think.
Your story ‘Road closures during half marathon’ (harrowtimes.co.uk March 10) showed the locked-down area. Somebody should count the disappointed families in it.
