I emailed the health trust that runs Northwick Park Hospital to ask what proportion of the parking fees there go to the NHS.

From my recent experience of using the car park, I guess the company that runs the car park —APCOA — could collect in the region of £10,000 per day. Maintenance of the car parks seems a relatively simple process, so I would have thought the majority of the revenue should go to the NHS, which by all reports is in dire financial straits, rather than APCOA shareholders. After more than a month I have still had no reply from the trust.
