I would just like to place on record my thanks to Harrow Borough Council for clearing the leaves in our road the other day.

The operatives stood there for ages and it took them a fair old while to blow with their ghostbuster machines hundreds, if not thousands, of leaves into the main road of the narrow street, where they were then left for all the cars to skid on an already damp and wet road surface.

It subsequently turned the street into a skating rink for cars.

What councillor or overpaid manager thought of this? Will they pay up I wonder when cars skid into one another and then claim for damage?
