THE leader of Harrow Council, Councillor Chris Mote, and Harrow police are to meet representatives of the borough's Muslim community on Monday (August 14) for talks in the wake of Thursday's massive terrorism alert.
The meeting is designed as a "reassurance exercise" for local Muslims and to give their representatives a chance to ask the council and police about any local consequences of what has happened nationally.
Brent Council said today (Friday) that it had no plans for a similar meeting.
