A major hotelier has announced plans to build five new hotels in Brent by 2025.
Travelodge is looking to open up branches in Kingsbury, Wembley, Kilburn, Kensal Rise and Harlesden, which will bring about 100 new jobs.
Guy Parsons, chief executive of Travelodge Hotels, said: “Brent has a severe lack of good quality budget hotel rooms, given the size of its population, local attractions, great transport links and proximity to central London.
“The hotels we are seeking to open will employ 100 people and enable residents to begin a career in the hospitality industry. Many of our managers started with the business in entry level roles and we do all we can to support our staff with their careers.”
