ROBBERS stormed a town centre mobile phone shop tying up staff and stealing cash and handsets last week.
Two employees at the Carphone Warehouse, in Station Road, were restrained with cables tied around their wrists by two men who suggested they had a gun.
The pair demanded the terrified staff open a safe at the back of the shop, which they emptied of cash, at around 9.45am on Thursday.
They then stole around 100 handsets before running towards Barclays Bank and into William Carey Street where they got into a white van.
The robbers wore fluorescent jackets, one with the word Right staff written on the back, and were described as between 18 and 26 years old.
One is described as black, around 6ft tall, with a black beanie hat, blue jeans, beige jacket, grey trainers and garden gloves.
The other was wearing a black hoodie, with blue jeans, white trainers, white gloves and a pink and white polo shirt.
He had a white, or off white, baseball cap with a gold emblem.
