The chief executive of a charity will try to stay in the saddle and pedalling for 12 hours as part of a spinning challenge later this month.
Brian Carlin is CEO of Aspire, a national charity based in Stanmore that provides help to people who have been paralysed by spinal cord injury and will be taking on the challenge later this month.
People can join in with the event by booking for an hour slot during the gruelling challenge, with money raised going to the Aspire charity.
Mr Carlin said: "I am an avid cyclist, but the longest time I have previously managed in one go in a spinathon is six hours 17 minutes.
βIt would be great if other cyclists, whatever their level of experience, would come and join me on the day.β
