A grandmother will hand her 1,200-strong petition calling for cheaper parking at a hospital to health bosses tonight.
Pamela Gershon, of Charlton Road, Kenton, has been collecting signatures for nearly six months calling for a reduction in parking costs at Northwick Park Hospital in Watford Road.
The 88-year-old started the campaign against the high prices as she feared other patients would not be able to afford to go to their appointments.
Last year charges went up from £2 to £2.20 for one hour and from £5 to £5.50 for five hours or longer.
The petition, backed by Brent and Harrow London Assembly Member Navin Shah, will be handed in tonight at the Annual General Meeting of Northwick Park Hospital Trust at the Himsworth Hall building of the hospital at 6pm.
