A SERIES of public exhibitions will be displayed in Harrow this week asking residents for their thoughts on the future of the Kodak site.

Land Securities, the firm spearheading plans for the site's development, in Headstone Drive, is seeking residents' view on the future of the land.

The blueprint will be at the heart of plans to transform Wealdstone by attracting development and bringing homes and jobs to the area.

More than 700 people attended exhibitions held in November last year and workshops in March this year.

Stephen Neal, development director at Land Securities, said: “The level of involvement in our pre-application consultation and the quality of feedback received has been tremendous.

“Some of the ideas we received, such as creating a green link through the site and improving access to Headstone Manor for example, have shaped our thinking about the proposals in a fundamental way.

“We’re passionate about making the Kodak site a genuinely inspirational place and we recognise the local community continues to have a crucial role to play in helping to achieve that.”

A display will be set up at the Zoom Leisure Centre, in Harrow View, Wealdstone, between 3pm and 8pm today, asking residents for their ideas and views as part of the consultation.

A further event will be held tomorrow at The Wealdstone Centre, 38-40 High Street, Wealdstone, between 11am and 2pm and also at Harrow and Wealdstone Railway Station (on the covered walkway) between 4pm and 8pm.

The last exhibition will be held on Friday at the unit between Topshop and Boots, in St Anns Shopping Centre, St Anns Road, Harrow, between 10am and 4pm.
