A MAN was arrested for dangerous driving this afternoon after knocking an on-duty police officer from his bike.
The incident happened on the A404 Watford Road, in Sudbury Hill, at around 12.45pm.
The driver, 63, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving without insurance.
The officer suffered leg injuries and was taken to a North London hospital but discharged shortly after.
The A404 Watford Road is closed both ways due to the accident at the Harrow Road and Eton Avenue part of the road.
Bus routes 182 and 245 are on diversion following the accident.
