A MAN is facing a trial after being accused of assaulting an off-duty Harrow police inspector in a road rage incident.
Mark Holland, 41, of Sellwood Drive, New Barnet, is charged with assaulting Harrow officer Inspector William Jahn after an incident in Park Road, New Barnet, on Thursday, April 7.
Yesterday at Hendon Magistrates Court he pleaded not guilty to that charge and using threatening and abusive language towards Mr Jahn and another man.
He was granted bail and is set to appear for trial on Monday, June 20.
