TWO men stole a Dolce and Gabana purse from a 57-year-old woman's Wembley home on Monday morning.

The pair told their victim her kitchen tap had been left on and sneaked into her Lancelot Road home while she went to turn it off.

They stole a handbag containing the designer purse, two credits cards and a passport and they also pinched a set of keys.

Police say a large percentage of car thefts begin with the keys being stolen from the owner's house.

The two men, who were wearing black clothing, are described as Asian, 6ft 1inch tall and between 20 and 25 years old.

DC Holly Sexton, of Brent Police, said: “I appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time of the incident who may have heard or seen anything suspicious.”
