ELDERLY and disabled residents in Harrow are being offered a free service to help keep them safe in their homes.

The Harrow Association of Disabled People (HAD) is offering a Home Safety Survey for people aged over 60, or who are disabled, deaf or hearing impaired.

Working in partnership with the London Fire Brigade, HAD staff members will supply and install smoke alarms, including specially adapted alarms for partially sighted and deaf residents.

To book a free home fire safety check, call Stuart Dashwood at HAD on 020 8861 9929, email s.dashwood@had.org.uk or textphone 020 8861 4547.
