CHARGES at a Brent car park have been reduced in an effort to help local businesses.
Tenterden Car Park, off Preston Road, now charges 20p for half an hour or £2.80 for the whole day and Brent Council says the move is designed to encourage motorists to visit nearby shops.
The changes are also intended to encourage drivers to stay for shorter periods, freeing up space for other cars.
