ALL students at a college in Harrow were offered university places after picking up their exam results today.

Around 40 per cent of grades were A or B for students at Buckingham College, in Hindes Road, one of the borough's smaller institutions with just 13 students.

Simon Larter, the headmaster, said: “This is testament to the hard work that both students and staff have put in and a great tribute to what small schools are able to achieve.”

Chris Smith, 18, got three As, in biology, chemistry and physics, and is going to the Royal Veterinary College, in Camden.

He said: “I'm just pleased that the whole thing has paid off in the end because I knew it would be hard to get into veterinary medicine.

“This is what I was working towards so I'm just pleased about how I did. I'm going to celebrate obviously. I'm going to go out for a family meal because my mum's been quite worried about it.”

Students at the college got an average points score of 290.
