A MURDER investigation has been launched following the death of a homeless man who was assualted in Wembley in October.
Mahendran Selvaratnam, 49, was left in a critical condition when he was slashed across the face in Ealing Road on October 8 last year. He died at Northwick Park Hospital last Friday, January 25.
A post mortem was carried out on Sunday,27 but the cause of death has not yet been established.
Four people were orginally arrested for the attack. Two were released and the others bailed.
