THE Labour group on Harrow Council is hosting a fundraiser tonight for victims of last year's cyclone in Bangladesh.
The dinner dance, at the Zoroastrian Centre, in Alexandra Avenue, Rayners Lane, is part of Labour's efforts to raise £30,000 for families devastated by cyclone Sidr.
Councillor Navin Shah, leader of the Labour Group, said: "People of Bangladesh are shattered by this unfortunate natural disaster and its impact on people's lives. We want to do our bit, as is our tradition in Harrow."
The event, in conjunction with a host of community organisations, starts at 6pm, and tickets cost £15 per head. For more information, contact Cllr Shah on 07764 396 339.
