BRENT residents are remembering the Holocaust with a special service featuring a stories of surviving the Nazi regime.

A survivor from the conflict in Rwanda will also be speaking at the service, between 2pm and 4pm today.

Today marks the 63rd anniversary of the liberation of the concentration camp in Auschwitz, and a one minute silence will be held to commemorate this.

Pupils at Preston Manor High School, in Carlton Avenue, Wembley, will perform a specially created five minute silent film called Unseen Voices during the service at Brent Town Hall, in Forty Lane.
