AVERAGE GCSE pass rates for Harrow students are six per cent above the national average.
The official reslults for 2007 have been released, showing 68 per cent of teenagers in the borough got five GCSE passes at A to C.
Councillor Christine Bednell, portfolio holder for schools and children's development, said: "These results are a tribute to the enormous amount of work carried out by those students, their teachers and other school staff across Harrow schools."
