LAND REGISTRY staff could lose their jobs when an office in Harrow closes.
Marion Shelley, press manager for the Government body, said: "If staff are there when it closes, they will be offered redundancy.
"But we are trying to ensure that all the staff from Harrow are offered jobs at other offices."
It was announced on Monday, January 7, no more applications will be accepted at the Harrow office, in Lyon Road, after April.
Ms Shelley said staff could be relocated to any Land Registry centre in the country when the office closes in 2010.
