Police are appealing for help after a 26-year-old man was stabbed during an attack by four men. 

Harrow and Brent police officers were called to Queensbury underground station at 12.45pm yesterday (Feb 8) after reports a fight had broken out.

Paramedics from the London Ambulance Service were called and a 26-year-old man was treated for stab wounds before he was taken to hospital.

The station on the Jubilee line, was closed for five hours and people were advised to rethink their travel plans.

Investigating officer Detective Sergeant Dean Percival, said police were in the early stages of the investigation.

He said: “What we know is that as the victim was walking towards the platform with his friends when he was subjected to an assault by up four men. Thankfully, the victim’s injuries were not serious and he has been discharged.  

“I am very keen to hear from anyone who was in the station at the time or who witnessed a group of men running away from Queensbury station just before 1pm. Please get in touch as your information could be vital to our investigation.

“Violent assaults such as this are thankfully uncommon, but when they do occur we will use all available evidence to find those responsible and bring them before the courts.” 

No arrests have been made.
