London could be set for snow tonight as forecasts predict extreme turn in the weather.
Snow is forecast by the Met Office to hit most of Britain this weekend with temperatures as low as -5C in some cities.
It could be up to 5C colder than expected for this time of year as the Met Office has issued warnings for ice in parts of South West England.
Snow may hit London tonight (February 8), while there will be widespread frost this weekend.
Temperatures will start to fall tomorrow, dropping in London from 7C today to 4C.
Warnings have been issued to elderly people to keep warm as the frost sets in.
