A teenager who was stabbed near to South Harrow Underground Station has died.

Hussein Ahmed, 19, from Edgware, was pronounced dead yesterday after life-support was turned off.

The teenager was riding his bicycle on Northolt Road before he was attacked by an armed gang outside a kebab house on Friday.

A 17-year-old male also sustained a minor laceration to his abdomen during the incident. He was taken to hospital for treatment and later discharged.

Detectives from the Homicide and Major Crime Command investigate the murder.

Four men, aged in their late teens or early 20s, were arrested on Monday on suspicion of attempted murder.

They were taken to a north London police station before being released on bail until early December pending further enquiries.

A post-mortem examination will take place at Northwick Park hospital mortuary today.
