A charity shop in Harrow is celebrating its 25th birthday today.

The St Luke’s Hospice shop, on Station Road, is giving away free cupcakes to its first 80 customers on the day as part of the festivities, and there will be plenty of summer stock on display too.

Shop manager Vicky Bunyan has been with the company for two years.

She said: “My team and I feel very proud to be a part of a shop community that has been around for 25 years. It is a big milestone and achievement for all those that have helped to keep it running for this long.

“Many supporters have told me how grateful they are for the work, care and devotion that St Luke’s has given to their loved ones.

“We wouldn’t be able to raise money for the hospice without the support of the local community, and I am very grateful to all who donate, our customers and our volunteers who give their time.”
