Harrow communities are set to come together to celebrate the Tamil Harvest Festival, Thai Pongal.
Thai Pongal, a celebration to honour the sun for the abundance of the harvest, is marked in January each year.
On Saturday, January 16, traditional drummers and dancers will perform at the Civic Centre.
An oil lamp will be lit in celebration and traditional food will be served.
The event is free and all are welcome, but booking is essential.
Cllr Sasi Suresh, leader of the planning committee, said: "We are pleased to be working with the Tamil community to hold the Thai Pongal celebration in the borough where people in the community can come and celebrate together."
The celebrations will take place from 6pm to 9pm in the Council Chamber at Harrow Civic Centre.
