Small businesses learned about procurement, tendering and winning new contracts at a free workshop hosted by a college.

Harrow College delivered its latest successful business workshop for small businesses on Thursday, August 13, in Marylebone, London.

Held as part of the Gateway Asia II project, the workshop was hosted by Michael Geddes, Abdul Miah and Colleen Williams, members of staff at the college, and aimed to equip businesses with skills to win new contracts in domestic and international markets.

One attendee, Charlotte Koch, of 4 Green Architecture Limited, said: “It was a very practical-oriented workshop. It’s encouraging to have further involvement with the Gateway Asia II programme.”

The Gateway Asia II programme will finish at the end of the year and Harrow College hopes to continue their work in business development through a Gateway Asia III programme.
