An off-licence in Wealdstone has been fined after selling alcohol to an under-age boy.
The off-licence in Palmerston Road was fined £90 after a sting by Harrow Licensing and Safer Transport Team and officers from Trading Standards on Thursday, July 23.
Nine off-licenses were visited throughout the day.
Officers also seized 60 packets of duty-free cigarettes as detectives believe they were being sold there.
PC Jasminder Virdi, from Harrow Licensing, said: "These test purchases are done to ensure that Licensees remained focussed on training their staff with sales procedures that uphold the licensing principle of protecting children from harm."
