Volunteers were praised for their continuous contribution as a charity celebrated 21 years of service.
Harrow Shopmobility, a service that provides free manual or electric wheelchairs to help people get around the town centre, has celebrated its 21st anniversary at its most recent AGM.
Chaired by Harrow Mayor Cllr Krishna Suresh, the meeting served as a special celebration for the charity to recognise all the staff and volunteers who have helped keep the service running.
Speaking at the meeting, the mayor praised and thanked volunteers for their support, pointing out the important contribution unpaid volunteers were making to the community and throughout Harrow.
During the evening, a cheque was presented to the charity by the Middlesex Grand Family Fete to help it continue its work in the borough.
