A man was taken to hospital with burns after a fire swept across the decking at his home.
Firefighters were called to a terraced house in Goldsmith Lane, Kingsbury, at 10.43am on Saturday, July 4 after reports that the outside decking had caught fire.
Around 20 firefighters and four engines attended the scene, where they found the decking and its canopy damaged in the blaze.
The man was taken to hospital by the London Ambulance Service with burns to his feet, and the child was also taken to hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
