A drug dealer has been sentenced to Harrow’s first criminal behaviour order.

James Payne, of Chelston Road, in Ruislip, was on convicted at Harrow Crown Court on Friday of being involved in the supply of Class B drugs.

He was jailed for six months, and also granted Harrow’s first Criminal Behaviour Order, which lasts for three years and details that he must not be in possession of any mobile phone or SIM card except for one in his name.

Officers arrested the 18-year-old on September 3 in Malvern Avenue, South Harrow after chasing him on foot.

There was also clear evidence that his mobile phone was being used for drug dealing.

Police Sergeant Ginger of Harrow's Anti Social Behaviour unit said, said: "This is the first Criminal Behaviour Order under the new powers to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour in Harrow, and will certainly not be the last."
