Bibs, baby grows and shoes can be donated today as synagogues collect children's clothes and writing materials for charity.
Synagogues including Borehamwood and Elstree, and Edgware and Pinner synagogues, will be collecting unwanted children’s clothing and stationery today in a collectathon organised by Jewish Child’s Day and Goods For Good.
After donations, the goods will be collected and taken to a central warehouse where they will be packaged by volunteers and sent to Israel to be distributed children’s homes who have requested the charity’s help.
