A convenience shop could have its licence revoked after police raised concerns.

Food and Wine Convenience Store, in High Street, Wealdstone is to have its licence reviewed by Harrow Council after an application was submitted by the police earlier this year.

Since October 2014, officers have been called to the shop on several occasions.

Incidents have included a 17-year-old male who took three bottles of alcoholic drink Cherry B and drank them in the shop before leaving without paying, and an incident in which a customer was assaulted by two people in the shop.

As well as this, tobacco and alcohol products have been seized from the shop in the belief that the correct UK duty had not been paid on the items.

Councillors will review the shop's licence at Harrow Civic Centre on April 16 from 10.30am.
