Volunteers are wanted to help with a clean-up day in a historic park.
The session, organised by The Friends of Canons Park, will involve litter picking at Canons Park, on the border of Edgware and Stanmore, and will run from 11am to 1pm.
No experience is necessary and people of all ages are welcome to come along and lend a hand, although children must be accompanied by an adult.
The friends group will supply gardening gloves, litter pickers and light refreshments, and volunteers will be meeting at the Good Friends Café at the centre of the park at 11am on April 12.
Further information about the park and the Friends group, including contact and travel details, are on the Friends’ website at www.canonsparkfriends.org or email canonspark@outlook.com
