A former firearms officer charged with murdering Azelle Rodney has been named.
The former police marksman has been named as Anthony Long after reporting restrictions were lifted at the Old Bailey.
Azelle Rodney, 24, was killed by a police marksman in Hale Lane, Edgware in April 2005, after officers stopped the car he was travelling in with two other men, believing they were on their way to carry out an armed robbery.
Mr Long was previously known only as E7.
He will stand trial next June.
