The challenge of Harrow Borough Council’s decision to reinstate the role of chief executive will not be taken any further.
Members of the call-in sub-committee examined the decision made by the Labour administration to bring back the position of most senior council officer, which was scrapped last year.
The challenge was made the opposition Conservative group who said there had now been proper consultation or proper consideration of the evidence beforehand.
The committee ruled the challenge will not go forward and the decision can be implemented.
