Labour came out on top at the European elections in north London as UKIP celebrated victory across the country.

Despite securing a winning 27 per cent of the British vote to grab 24 seats at last week’s polls, UKIP finished third behind Labour and the Conservatives in the boroughs of Enfield, Haringey, Harrow and Barnet.

Labour won in Haringey, Enfield and Harrow but was unable to topple the Conservative stronghold of Barnet, which the Tories took with a majority of almost 4,000 votes.

The Liberal Democrats took a hit across the region, being pushed down to fifth behind the Green Party in all four boroughs.

Labour claimed sweeping victories in Haringey and Enfield by 23,000 and 15,000 votes respectively, with a smaller winning margin of 3,000 votes in Harrow.

@harvery_uk. Asians should realise that voting against the EU brings them equality. The EU creates a European super race like the Nazis did, putting the White European first and the rest as 2nd class citizens.
