Harrow Times: Weight loss fundraisers enjoy free salon make over Weight loss fundraisers enjoy free salon make over

A hair salon gave a free makeover to two women after a sponsored weight loss event in aid of a hospice charity.

Ellis Lance and Alison Whittall won the makeover at HOB Salons in Hatch End for taking part in the ‘Pounds Off Pounds In’ challenge for Michael Sobell Hospice in Northwood.

The pair managed to raise a combined total of £665 for the hospice palliative care for people in Northwood, Pinner and Hatch End.

Salon manager Chloe Rumball said: “We often take part in charity fundraisers by donating raffle prizes or holding our own raffles and cake sales.

“This was a really nice way to give back to those who have dedicated their time to raise money and with their weight loss complete the journey to making them look and feel fabulous, whilst all being for a great cause.”

!Keep up the good works.More power to your elbow.

Fantastic to read in the hurly-burly of local electioneering and see how good folk still abound in Harrow.
