Cyclists from across the borough will be joining together as part of a campaign to make roads safer for bike users.

Harrow Cyclists will be meeting tomorrow to raise awareness of its cycling plan for the borough which is part of the London wide campaign Space for Cycling.

The project is calling for all council candidates ahead of the London local elections to improve roads and make streets safer cyclists.

Organisers say everyone will benefit and in particular councils can make it make it safer for children to cycle to school and can improve town centres by making them easier to visit by bike.

Members of the Harrow group will be meeting outside Harrow Borough Council’s civic centre, in Station Road, at 10am before embarking on ride around the area.
