A school raised more than £1,000 for charity after hosting a breakfast morning and non-uniform day.

Norbury Primary School, in Welldon Cresent, Harrow handed over a cheque to The British Heart Foundation at an assembly this week.

The school invited pupils and their parents to take The BIG LOVE Breakfast where they could enjoy a cooked morning meal and make a small donation.

On the same day children were allowed to wear their own red clothes to school and were asked to donate £1.
