People are being encouraged to sign up for Harrow Council’s Big Energy Switch for a chance to save up to £200 a year on energy bills.
Registration for the next round of the scheme will close on Monday, November 18 before an online auction the following day in which energy providers will bid to offer the cheapest tariffs to everyone who has registered.
Suppliers who offer the cheapest tariff will offer residents a new, personal contract making it easy to see how much money they can save.
Leader of Harrow Council Councillor Susan Hall said: “As winter approaches and energy suppliers yet again increasing energy prices, it is important that we help residents get a fair deal and cut costs on their energy bills, which is why we are supporting the Big Energy Switch scheme.”
