People affected by inflammatory bowel disease are being invited to annual information event to get help and support.
St Mark’s Hospital, in Harrow, will host the open day on Saturday, November 2.
The event will give patients, carers, family members and anyone else to find out more about conditions including ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.
Denise Robinson, outpatients’ sister at the hospital, said: “It really gives people a unique opportunity to learn more about ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s.
“It is so important that people suffering with these lifelong conditions have a trustworthy source of information and that they aren’t dependent on sometimes unreliable opinions from the internet.”
The event will take place from 10.30am to 3.30pm at St Mark’s Hospital, in Watford Road.
