A woman was dragged behind parked cars and sexually assaulted shortly after she got off a bus.

Police have released CCTV images of a man they would like to talk to in connection with the attack, which took place in Harrow in August.

On Monday August 5 at just after 1am, a 26-year-old woman boarded a H9 bus at Kenton Station and got off in St Leonards Avenue.

Police say a man followed the victim off the bus and approached her from behind, dragged behind some parked vehicles and sexually assaulted her.

The victim then managed to pursuade the man to accompany her to her home address nearby, knowing her flatmates would be in.

Once she got there she raised the alarm and her flatmate chased the man off.

The suspect is described as a man in his early 20s, of Asian appearance with an English accent, skinny and wearing dark clothing.

Police are asking anyone with any information about the incident to get in contact.
