Customers at a post office will soon benefit from more services and longer opening hours.
The Post Office branch in Church Road, Stanmore, is to undergo refurbishment in order to modernise it.
After completion, the new-look post office’s open hours will be extended by 13 hours a week - from 7.30am to 6pm from Monday to Saturday and 8am to 5.30pm on Sundays.
The new-look premises will have four counters and allow people to pay bills, make bank transactions and top up mobile phones.
It will be shut for refurbishment on Wednesday, October 16 at 5.30pm and reopen on Monday, October 28 at 1pm.
During this time, people can use alternative offices in Spur Road, Canons Corner and Bushey Heath.
