A new-look Harrow Borough Council website will be launched this week, which the authority hopes will be easier for people to use.

The council will be launching the new site, which can also be used by people on tablet computers and smartphones, on Friday.

The new site has cost the council £23,000 and was designed by the authority’s web team, and it is hoped it will help towards a total saving of £1.3million from the council’s customer service department.

Leader of the council and portfolio holder for customer services councillor Thaya Idaikkadar says he hopes the more modern website will be easier for residents to use and find the information they need.
