Put on your wellies and discover the secrets of the woodland at Ashridge and learn more about the creatures that live there. Answer questions along the way and collect your reward at the end.

Other museum events include watching an egg curator dissect an egg on Friday, April 5 and Hairy Caterpillars on Tuesday, April 9, where you can make a caterpillar using compost and seed. Just add water at home and watch the hairs grow.

Visitors can also explore the latest exhibit, The Unfeathered Bird exhibition, which runs until 5 May. Discover the beauty of birds reduced to their bare bones in this new exhibition of artwork from The Unfeathered Bird, a book by artist and ornithologist Katrina van Grouw.
