London Wasps have been handed a favourable Heineken Cup draw after it was made today.
The Guinness Premiership champions have been placed in Pool Two alongside Irish outfit Leinster, Castres and Edinburgh.
Wasps will be heavily fancied to advance from the group stage after the draw was seeded for the first time. Last season, Wasps failed to qualify for the quarter-finals after being involved in a hugely difficult group including eventual winners Munster, Clermont Auvergne and Llanelli Scarlets.
